DAVID DUBIN
President and CEO 

While the Chicago area homebuilding community is traditionally the territory of the family builder - small, entrepreneurial firms that carry the name of their owner - few are as strongly committed to the values and interests of the people they serve as Dubin Residential, and David Dubin. That is due entirely to the personal values of David and how those values translate to the unique commitment he brings to his business and his customers on a daily basis.

The company is a labor of love David launched as a side business while he was working as an accountant and CPA over 15 years ago. He began with custom single-family homes and residential renovations on Chicago's North side, and bordering North Shore suburbs where he was raised. The satisfaction David derived from building these homes one at a time during those early years evolved into the penchant for quality and passion for customer satisfaction that has defined Dubin Residential since 1987.

In fact, David's goals remain the same today as it was when he started work on his first home. "I want to build high quality, affordable homes - the kind of home I would want to live in if I were the buyer," he says. "And beyond that, I try to make the entire process really enjoyable for my customers - from planning and construction to financing and closing."

STUART KANTOFF

For over 10 years, Stuart Kantoff has been instrumental in establishing Dubin Residential as one of Chicago’s leading urban pioneers in residential development.

Stuart, who joined the company in 1995, has more than 15 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. He served as a senior project manager before being promoted to partner, executive vice president and chief operating officer in 2004.

Since joining Dubin Residential, he has overseen the construction of more than 800 homes in Chicago and Evanston. Today, Stuart is responsible for managing all current and future home developments, as well as all business operations.

Stuart is particularly proud of the achievements the company has made in terms of customer service, which is a top priority for the builder.

“We want to make sure people are happy when they buy a home from us,” says Stuart. “We’re committed to excellent customer service throughout the entire home buying process. From sales and the selection of options, to construction and financing, we strive to make customers feel at ease.”
